Dear Parents and Students:
39th & I-215 RAMP CLOSURE
Starting this weekend, the 39th and I-215 on and off ramps will be closed for construction. I not sure the full impact yet but the alternate exits I have been told are 33rd and 45th. Prepare for this for Monday morning commute and drop off.
YEAR END–RISE TESTING
The last year-end state RISE assessment will be administered on May 17. The whole school will be assessed in science at one time from 8-11am with a snack break. We want all students to be assessed including current Distance Learners. By having all our students test, we will have a better understanding of how we need to adjust instruction and intervention for students next school year. We use the data from these state assessments to make goals and determine funding in the school. Your student’s best participation and effort is greatly appreciated. Please remember to eat a good breakfast (we will provide a light breakfast if wanted 7:15-7:35am), charge your Chromebook and bring a pair of headphones if you have them.
YEARBOOKS AND OUTSTANDING BALANCES DUE
f you would like to order your student a yearbook please get those orders in ASAP. Also, yearbooks can’t be picked up if your student has an outstanding balance on their account. Please take care of those balances well in advance of yearbook day (June 1) to avoid your student having to stand in a very long line to pay fees. If you are unsure if you have already ordered a yearbook or would like to pay off your students balance over the phone, please email caflanagan@graniteschools.org or call 385-646-3701.
WASATCH GOLF TEAM
Just a reminder that if you want to try out for the golf team, boy or girl, two score cards need to be turned in to Mr. Anderson by Monday. One should be from a par 3 course and one from a regular 9 hole course. The team practice round will be on 5/17 and the four school tournament is on 5/20 both at Mick Riley Golf Course.
