Dear Parents and Students: We hope you enjoy the time off for spring break!

 ELECTIONS FOR SBOs & 7TH GRADE REPRESENTATIVES!

A meeting will be held on Monday, April 3rd at 2:50 p.m. in the Wasatch library. This is a mandatory meeting for any student looking to run. Election forms will be available; they must be signed and returned by the end of the school day Thursday, April 6th. No applications will be accepted after 3:00pm

If you have any immediate questions, see Mr. Stewart or Vice Principal Dehaan.

MAKE A TED TALK FOR WASATCH!

Create a 5 minute Ted Talk on the topic: “How you show EXCELLENCE”

Submit to your video through this Google Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSczIeGuc0cw-z-VZTJOXzMviP-EnjsGgouCzFWU6JDFDossCQ/viewform?usp=sf_linLinks to an external site.

Base your Ted Talk on the format “Build Your Own Ted Ed” handout we used in the 3/7 Warrior Time (see your 2nd period teacher if you need another copy).

There will be prizes awarded to the top 3-5 and the videos will be shown during Warrior Time on April 11th. If you have any questions about formatting, please come see Mr. McGowan, Mr. Yund, Ms. Mudrow or Ms. Miner

7TH GRADE FIELD TRIP

The Wasatch 7th Grade Team is excited to announce the return of our Annual 7th Grade Field Trip on Monday, April 24th! 

Also, we’re asking for parent volunteers to come with the students on the trip, as we’ll need more chaperones than we have teachers at the school. We’ll need about 25 or so volunteers, and your ticket to This is the Place will be paid for.  The time commitment would be from about 9:00 AM to 2:15 PM on the day of the field trip.

Important dates:

 Monday, March 20th – Permission slips sent home

Friday, March 24th – Early Bird permission slip date – get a treat!

Wednesday, April 12th – Last day to request a school lunch with your trip

Thursday, April 20th – Last day to turn in your permission slips

Monday, April 24th – Annual 7th Grade Field Trip to This is the Place Heritage Park.

 THE WEEK AHEAD:

3/24—4/2—No School—End of  3rd Term and Spring Break

4/3—Election Meeting for Student Government @ 2:50pm in the Library

4/6—Community Council Meeting @ 6:45am –Office Conference room.
