Dear Parents and Students:
GRANITE ON-LINE SUMMER CLASSES–
Students who want to make more room in their schedule next year or in the years to come may do so through Granite Online Summer Courses. It is $60 per a course. We currently have the registration forms in the Counseling Center. To register, you must complete the Google form as well as the paper form. Paper forms are to be turned in to your counselor by April 13th.
U of U NURSING SUMMER CAMP–
Attention all 7th and 8th graders! If you are interested in healthcare or becoming a nurse, the University of Utah’s College of Nursing is hosting a Nursing Summer Camp for seventh – ninth graders. You will learn about the nursing profession and how to use hospital equipment. You will also have the opportunity to work on real-world medical scenarios in the Nursing Simulation Center. The cost is $30 for 4 days and lunch is included. If you are interested, sign up TODAY. Last year this summer camp filled up in the first few days.
7TH GRADE FIELD TRIP
The Wasatch 7th Grade Team is excited to announce the return of our Annual 7th Grade Field Trip on Monday, April 24th!
Also, we are asking for parent volunteers to come with the students on the trip, as we will need more chaperones than we have teachers at the school. We will need about twenty-five or so volunteers, and your ticket to This is the Place will be paid for. The time commitment would be from about 9:00 AM to 2:15 PM on the day of the field trip.
Important dates
Wednesday, April 12th – Last day to request a school lunch with your trip.
Thursday, April 20th – Last day to turn in your permission slips.
Monday, April 24th – Annual 7th Grade Field Trip to This is the Place Heritage Park.
