According to University of Utah virologist, Dr. David Belnap, one virus is one-millionth of a millimeter.
Now, that’s miniscule to the millionth.
On Friday, the University of Utah Nakarni Lab presented the world of viruses, in 3-D, to the Decker Lake students, staff, and teachers. With the use of magnetized marbles and rods, students constructed models of various, which, speaking of millions, come in that number of sizes and varieties.
The scientists from the U will be making a return visit in May for a more artistic look at viruses.
