Long-term Students at DT

There are a number of long-term students at the Detention Center in school this year.  Sandy, teacher, and Finn, mentor, are working closely with those students. She and the other teachers at DT are helping the students fulfill necessary credits toward graduation, through regular classes and credit recovery.  Several of those students made the honor roll for the first term and received a certificate in recognition.  Finn is also helping a few of the students to obtain their drivers permit and food handlers permit.  Sandy explained that this is a program that is evolving with lots of prospects in the works.  We will keep you posted!
