The New School Year started with a Party at the Maverick Center!
The District had all employee’s at the Maverick Center to kick off the new year!
YESS welcomes four new teachers this year! Katie and Ashley at Youth Services, Tucker at Transition at Roosevelt and Caroline at DSI/Gemstone. We are excited as these teachers join us here at YESS. We feel that they will make great contributions to our school.
Mentors are Welcomed Back to School!
Jason, Ann and the Mentor Team welcomed back our awesome mentors at a training before school started. Our mentors work with YIC students in regular school settings as well as in our YESS sites. They help monitor students academic progress, SEL and help them connect with outside resources as well as give other support.
