Our teacher at Christmas Box House Sharon was awarded the UEA’s “Excellence in Teaching Award” for 2023. She was one of eight teachers to receive this award. Teachers were picked whose efforts in the classroom have had significant impact on the life of an individual child or group of children.
Sharon was notified last week that she had won the award and will receive $1,500 and be honored at the Superstars in Education celebration in June. Sharon started the classroom at Christmas Box House several years ago. She has impacted the lives of so many children as they have entered her classroom.
We at the Youth Educational Support School are grateful for Sharon. We are glad that she has been recognized for the hard work she does for our students.
We want to thank all of our teachers who do such a great job working with our students.
