Decker Lake Students Write Resume and Conduct Mock Interviews

Kandice Barber and Noelle Converse spent to days in Dieter’s English classes and taught students how to be prepared to get a job by building a good resume.

They discussed with students the importance of a good resume down to the paper it is printed on. As well as what information should be included to create a strong resume, like relevant skills, experience and Time was also spent discussing what interview process looks like and how to prepare for an interview. The students utilized what they had learned during their mock interviews. They were interviewed by Kandice, Noelle, Dieter or a Staff. Then had the opportunity to interview each other. Each where given feedback about their interview.
