Hello Bonneville Families!
Remember!!! NO SCHOOL TOMORROW (FRIDAY) OR MONDAY! ENJOY THE LONG WEEKEND.
What a great “Hello Week” we have had at Bonneville! Our SBOs and Peer Leadership group have worked hard to make it a fun and welcoming week. Such great energy and excitement surrounding a new year. As with the start to any school year comes an increase in illness. Please see the attached guidelines from our school nurse on when to keep your student home if they are sick. We know how important it is for your student to attend school, but we also want to do our part to keep everyone healthy. Please take a few minutes to review the attached guidelines.

Panorama Survey 2023-2024
Dear Bonneville Families,
Students are important partners in our efforts to improve our communication, academic programs, and overall educational experience. In order to learn more about what our students need in order to thrive, we will be asking for your child’s feedback via an online survey given three times a year that will be completed at our school, the Panorama Survey. Your students’ feedback will provide valuable insight into their experiences and help our district adapt to meet their needs.
The survey will ask students to self-reflect on their social skills, dispositions, and emotions, as well as the support that they receive in and outside of the classroom. You can preview the survey content using the links below:
Skills and Dispositions: Grades 6-12
Supports and Environment: Grades 6-12
The survey will take no more than one class period to complete. If a student doesn’t feel like they have enough information to answer a question, or doesn’t wish to answer, they will be able to skip the item altogether. Educators who work with your child will be able to see their self-reported areas of strength and areas for growth. We are partnering with a third-party vendor to support us in administering these surveys.
If you do not want your child to participate, please notify the Principal, Jen Johnson jjohnson@graniteschools.org by Friday, September 1st by NOON. If you opted your student out last year, you will need to submit another opt out for the 2023-2024 school year. We thank you in advance. If you have any questions about the survey administration, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 385-646-5124.
School Doorbell and Entrance Procedures
If you have visited Bonneville recently, you may have noticed a new doorbell at our entrance. As a school we take the safety of our students and staff seriously. Please have your ID ready to enter the building. This process is new to all of us and we are learning how to make it efficient. Please support our efforts for schools safety.
