Hello Bonneville Families,
WE MADE IT! Spring Break is here!!! Please have a wonderful and safe break and enjoy some down time. School will resume on Monday, April 8th and then we will push hard to the end of the school year. When we return on the 8th there will be a solar eclipse. Science classes will have various activities that day and every student will be provided with an approved pair of eclipse glasses to watch the eclipse.
There are many upcoming events and the rest of the year will only continue to get busy. Please help your student stay focused and positive to finish the school year strong. As a reminder, Bonneville Junior High is a closed campus which means we DO NOT allow food deliveries such as Doordash, Grubhub, etc. This is a safety concern for students and all our staff. When unknown individuals come to the school and then begin trying to enter locked doors or meet students in parking lots it raises many concerns. Please talk to your students about this expectation and support the school in trying to keep everyone safe.
I am so proud of all our Vikings and their hard work during Quarter 3. We celebrated with our Good Grades/No Tardy Party this week. Thank you to our wonderful PTA for bringing in treats. We had 280 students earn a 3.0 GPA or higher for Quarter 3 and 191 students with NO tardies. Keep up the great work.
Another celebration for the week is our MESA Team. They competed last week and we finally received the results. In the “Write it, Do it” event Bonneville took both 1st and 2nd place and our “Utah Engineering Design Competition” received an Honorable Mention. A HUGE thank you to Ms. Parr and Mr. Pankow and all the students who worked so hard to make this a great competition. Way to go!
Have a fabulous Spring Break!

Counselor Comments
Counseling Center Parent Survey
Bonneville’s Counseling Center implements the Utah College and Career Readiness School Counseling Program Model. Every 4 years our school counseling program is evaluated by the Utah State Board of Education. Our big review year is coming up in 2024-2025!
In preparation for this review, we need your help by taking a parent needs survey! This survey helps us to identify our strengths, opportunities for growth, your needs as parents, and ways we can plan for the future of supporting Bonneville students.
To take this survey please go to: https://www.ctesurveys.com/CTESurvey?PointerId=474&SchoolId=119
