English Language Arts

Mr. Hoecherl completed his undergraduate degrees from the University of Utah in International Studies and English Teaching with a minor in Special Education. Mr. Hoecherl is a strong advocate for inclusivity and equity in the classroom. He strives to make his classroom a safe, welcoming, and validating environment for all students. Evergreen Jr. High is the first middle school Mr. Hoecherl has taught at, and he loves it! He enjoys reading, writing, and interacting with students. Outside of school, Mr. Hoecherl enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, going to second-hand bookstores, and traveling.
