Mr. Krause grew up in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. It was through his school band and choir programs that he developed his love for music and teaching. Since then, he’s moved around quite a bit. Mr. Krause has called Brazil, Turkey, China, and the USA home at some point. He received his degree in Music Education and then went on to study under some of today’s music greats like: Frank Ticheli, Bobby Shew, Paula Crider, and Diane Soelberg to name a few. During his time overseas, Mr. Krause has been able to fall in love with music over and over again from new cultural traditions and practices. Evergreen Jr. has been such a fun place for him and he looks forward to many years as an Eagle. During his free time, he likes to travel and spend time with his family…music is always a big part of that.
