Social Studies

Mrs. Root loves teaching about the founding and growth of America and about the Great State of Utah!  In her 20th/21st Century class, students explore the big events that changed America and the world. Mrs. Root received her degree from BYU and other endorsements from Utah State, the U of U and SUU. She uses a wide range of technology applications in class to add variety, interest, and competence.  She agrees with what historian David McCullough says, "For a free, self-governing people, something more than a vague familiarity with history is essential, if we are to hold on to and sustain our freedom."
