PTA Fundraiser
Our PTA fundraiser kick off will be Tuesday, March 7 and ends March 20th. PTA funds an incredible amount of activities and gives support to our teachers and school in many ways. We appreciate all they do for us. This is the last fundraiser of the year and we appreciate your support!

Performing Arts
March is one of the months our students will show off their theater acting talents! The first performance will be Theater in the Round on March 6th under the direction of Heather Creel and Mrs. Hatch. On March 15th and 16th, Broadway Kids will perform at various times. Mrs. Craven is the director and Mrs. Wright gives her a great amount of support. Our performing arts teachers do fantastic work to put on wonderful shows.
Community Council
Please join us for our next Community Council meeting on Monday, March 13th at 8:45 in the Family Center. We will review the staffing needs for next year as well as approve the plan for Trustland funds. Thank you to Brenda Shamo and all members of the committee who are committed to improving Fox Hills.
Spring Break
This year our spring break is from March 23-31. Wednesday, March 22 will be our early out day. This is the longest spring break I have ever had. I hope you and your children enjoy the time off, read plenty of books, and come back ready to learn and complete the SAGE testing beginning in April.
Kindergarten Pre-Registration
Kindergarten pre-registration has begun. Please help us find any kindergartener who will attend Fox Hills next year. This will help us in planning for your students and our staffing needs.
Principal’s Notes
Thank you for attending SEP conferences and supporting our Book Fair. I appreciate all you do for your children to help support their success at Fox Hills. I’m a parent of five children and find it the most challenging and rewarding experience I have ever had. My baby is now sixteen and I am well past the elementary years, but reflect many times on breaking away from teaching to dash over and see a science fair project or teach an art class on my days off. It was well worth the sacrifice and I hope you are all savoring your elementary experiences with your children. I know it is crazy and frustrating at times, but this time will pass quickly and hopefully you will also look back and have fond memories of your experiences with your children at Fox
