This week we had Red Ribbon week. We were reminded this week that drugs are not good for our bodies. Each day this week we had a different theme. Monday we were given our red wristbands and each day names were called out, and those students that were still wearing their wristbands got a surprise. Tuesday, we wore red to support the stopping of Drugs and Violence. Wednesday, we teamed up to stop Drugs and Violence and wore our team sports attire. Thursday, we scared away drugs by wearing our spooky costumes.
The classes also had a door decorating contest. Each class decorated their doors to support Red Ribbon week. The class winners were for the upper grades, Ms. Gelas’ class and for the younger grades, Mrs. Fisher’s.
