Mr. Josh Bates
Special Education Teacher
Mr. Bates was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 2016 with a degree in Latin American Studies and Global Business Literacy in Spanish and is currently pursuing a Special Education Teaching degree through Utah State University. This is his first year teaching at Robert Frost Elementary and his second year teaching in Granite School District. Mr. Bates has been happily married for 4 years and has one very active, smiley one year old son. His favorite activities are hanging out with his family, camping, biking, as well as he is a consistent attendee at Salt Lake Comic Con. He also enjoys playing and coaching soccer. He is very excited to teach here at Robert Frost Elementary!
Mr. Ofa Nau
Mr. O was born in Upland California and raised in Salinas, California in the Monterey Bay County. In 2014 Mr. Nau graduated from California State University with a degree in Social Behavioral Science and in 2017 he graduated from the University of Utah with his Master’s degree in Education Culture & Society. Mr. Nau has been married for 8 years and is a proud father of 4 beautiful children, ages 6, 5, 2, and a 6-month-old. Mr. O enjoys every moment he spends time with his family and loves to be silly with his kids. His favorite activities are spending time with his family, playing chess, and keeping up with his sports teams. He also enjoys participating in MMA training and coaching football. Last but not least, Mr. O absolutely loves his students and is looking forward for another awesome year at Robert Frost Elementary.
