Granite School District will operate 15 locations where lunch will be served during Summer 2023. Lunch will be served outside of the building at school locations (students will not have access to the building) and at community parks. All children from 0-18 years of age can get one free meal a day at a summer meal location. Adults are able to have lunch but must pay for the meal. The cost is $3.35 per meal for adults.
This summer all students must come to the lunch locations and eat the meal onsite. This is a requirement of USDA for all summer programs. During the past three years, COVID waivers were in place which allowed meals to be picked up and taken home or to another school location for students attending a summer program. Pick up and service at a different school location or providing grab-and-go meals will not be allowed because the COVID waivers are expired.
See flyer below for lunch sites.
