Ms. Gelas is originally from New York State. She moved here 25 years ago to enjoy the mountains. She is a passionate teacher and loves working with the kids. You can find her on any given weekend hiking, biking or skiing.

I was born and raised here in Salt Lake City, but spent most of my summers in New York City with my father. I graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Elementary Education, and I immensely enjoy my role here as a teacher of Robert Frost. In my spare time, I love tinkering with LEGOS, playing and practicing piano, and working on my spins in ice skating.
