I love to teach Kindergarten!  I love the unique perspective that 5 and 6 year students have on life and how eager they are to learn and grow.  I love to read and share books with my students. I also love to discover the world through the eyes of my students during science. I am eager to incorporate new ideas and technologies.  I hope you and your child will enjoy this year of school as we let our minds “bloom” together. When I am not teaching or planning for Kindergarten I like to read a good book, play word games on my phone, watch some HGTV, and spend time with my family which consists of my husband, three daughters, two dogs, and lots of extended family.

I’m thrilled to be at Truman and working with the wonderful staff – especially Mrs. Ruzzi! She is allowing me to hold onto her coat tails as I learn to do things “The Truman Way!” Thank you to all my new students and parents for your warm welcome and patience as each of us learns to do things “the school way.” When I’m not bragging about my students and how much they’ve improved and grown – I’m bragging about my own children (for the same reasons!) They are Kind. They are Thinkers. They are Leaders. Susume!
