Last week, we sent home a red and blue note with each student. Please be sure to return the red note to school if you have students who will not be returning to Upland Terrace this fall. We would love for all our students to stay with us here at Upland, but we do understand that family plans change. This important information is helpful for us as we plan staffing for next year. The sooner we can have this information, the better.
The blue notes are for students who will be entering kindergarten in the fall. If you have a child who will turn 5 on or before September 1, it’s time to start planning for registration! Please return the form to the office. (We have plenty of extra forms in the office for your or any friends or neighbors who may have incoming kindergarten students!)
Open Enrollment
The Early Open Enrollment window opened on December 1 and remains open through February 19. If families choose to have their students attend a school that is not within their neighborhood boundaries, this window is a great time to fill out the paperwork required! Please click the link for additional information.
Free Lunches
Federal funding will pay for school lunches for enrolled students for the remainder of the school year. This means that Upland Terrace students – both in person and distance learners – can have free lunches! In person students can get a free lunch during their regular lunch time, or to be picked up for Distance Learning days at 2:35pm the day before. Distance Learners may come pick up a free lunch Mondays through Thursdays between 12 and 1, and before Distance Learning days at 2:35.
