IMPORTANT REMINDER: Tomorrow (Thursday, August 31), is a Planning Day. School is dismissed at 1:40. There is no school for students on Friday, September 1 and Monday, September 4. Friday is a teacher work day, and Monday is the Labor Day holiday.

Germs at Upland
School has started – which means we have a bunch of people here in the building teaching, learning, and sharing germs. Please be sure that if your child has symptoms of an illness, you keep them at home. This will help your child get healthy and the rest of the big and little people in the building stay healthy!
To excuse an absence, you can call our front office at: 385-646-5055, and leave a message.
Paying for School Breakfast and Lunch
Upland Terrace serves breakfast and lunch each day in the cafeteria. Breakfast costs $.90/day and lunch costs $1.50/day. If a student just wants milk, it costs $.30.
Money to pay for meals can be dropped off in the front office. Or – parents can sign up to pay online! You can set up an account for your student(s) at PayPams. To find out more, please click this link: https://www.paypams.com/

Hearing Screenings
Hearing screenings for kindergarten through third grade students and special education special classes will be held on Tuesday, September 5. Our district audiology team provides this service for our students. They will reach out to parents if they notice any issues with your child’s screening.
If you have a fourth or fifth grade student, and are interested in having their hearing screened, please let your child’s classroom teacher know!
