Hello everyone!
Happy Thursday! This is our last Update from Upland for the school year!
Goodbye from Mrs. Reed
Dear Upland Family –
This goodbye is so bittersweet! While I am feeling great joy, excitement, and relief about retiring, it is hard to leave the Upland community – and hard to believe this will be my last last day of school.
I have seen this school through a big office remodel, reconfiguration, windstorms, pandemics, earthquakes, and playground facelifts. I have seen countless beloved faculty and staff members come and go. I have watched students learn, grow, and move on – then come back to celebrate high school graduation. It has been quite an adventure – and I have loved (almost) every minute of it! (The pandemic was hard…let’s not do that again.)
I often tell people that getting assigned to Upland Terrace as principal as my last school assignment has been the greatest gift! I hope you all know how special this school and community are…Upland is filled with the cutest and brightest kids, and is fortunate to have the best, most supportive families. It has been my privilege to be here. Thank you for ten years of support, and for sharing your students with me! Love, Mrs. Reed
Report Cards and Test Results
Students will be coming home with a brown envelope on the last day of school. Inside the envelope, parents can find a copy of their child’s report card, Acadience Reading and Math reports (grades K-5), as well as RISE reports (grades 3-5).
If your child is absent the last day of school, their envelope will be in the office for pick up.
