When a student walks into Mrs. Hall’s classroom at Christmas Box House, they enter a world where they are safe, valued, and are taught. They not only learn academics, but strategies that enable them to cope with some of the unique challenges they face on a daily basis.

Plaster Tape Masks
by Cathleen, Teacher at the Detention Center Students at the Detention Center made plaster masks by applying and shaping plaster tape onto plastic face molds. They let their creativity fly while listening to Native American flute music. It was a huge, and very messy, success. Painting fun is ahead when the molds become unique faces!
