Students are expected to follow the Bus Guidelines. Please review prior to riding the bus.
Required Bus Passes
Bus Passes will be given to students at school at the start of the year. Students will not be required to have their bus pass the first week of school (August 13, 14, 15), but will be required starting Monday, August 18th.
Students who lose their bus pass may request a new one in the main office. A fine to reprint the bus pass may be given if the bus pass is lost multiple times.
Can I track the arrival of my school bus?
Yes, Granite School District uses the “Here Comes the Bus” App (available on your mobile device) to easily track the location of your bus. Select here for more information.
What if I do not live in a bus area, but want to ride the bus?
The State of Utah provides school transportation for those students who live in the school’s boundary and are at least 2 miles from the school. The State determines distance by where the home’s drive way meets the street, through the most efficient/county approved roads/sidewalks, to the school property and not the front door of the school.
If you are ineligible for busing, then the Granite School District may offer a curtesy bus route when a current bus is not at capacity. To place your name into the lottery for a “Space Available Bus Pass,” please complete the application and return it to the school’s main office. Depending on bus capacity, a lottery system will take place after the first few weeks of school once the Transportation Office gives us the go ahead.
