I would like to announce that Evergreen Junior High was recognized at December’s Board meeting as being one of the top two junior high schools with the highest MGP in Granite School District. Median Growth Percentile or MGP is determined by taking the score in the exact middle of all the student’s RISE test scores. Generally, a growth score of 40 is the baseline for about a year’s growth. Anything 50 or above is a strong score, and anything 60 and above shows the students did a significant amount of learning during the year.
