William Penn is enrolling Kindergarten Students for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning January 6, 2026 through February 6, 2026 (for in-boundary and siblings of current students only). If you have a child who will be 5 years old by September 1, 2026 [Utah Code 53G-4-401] please visit the school’s main office to enroll.

Kindergarten Enrollment Flyer

We will need the following items to enroll a new student:

  • Enrollment form (provided in the school’s main office)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Up to Date Immunizations or an exemption form from the Utah State Department
  • Proof of residency for in-boundary students (i.e. utility bill or cell phone bill with name of guardian and address listed)
  • Parent’s Driver’s License or Passport

Next steps for new kindergarten students and their loved ones:

  1. Plan to attend Kindergarten Orientation (student and at least one parent) on Thursday April 2nd at 6:30 – 7:30 pm
  2. KEEP Testing will tentatively take place on August 12th – 14th.  These testing dates are determined by Granite School District .
  3. Students are placed into a kindergarten class based on current learning levels (KEEP Test).
  4. Plan to attend the William Penn Open House in August prior to school starting.
