Breakfast Times

8:05 – Breakfast Begins (students enter through the front doors)
8:35 – Breakfast Ends

Regular Days (usually Monday – Thursday)

8:35 – First Bell
8:40 – Tardy Bell (Students arriving tardy between 8:41 and 8:59 need to use the playground doors on the West side of the school to enter the building)
3:20 – Dismiss (Parents who need to check out their student(s) early need to do so before 3:00)

Planning Day (the last school day of the week; usually Friday)

A NOTE ABOUT SPECIALS:

To help students in our Spanish and Traditional programs get to know each other, we mix homeroom classes during Specials.
Instead of going with their regular homeroom, all students in the grade level are divided into four color groups: Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue. Your child will stay in their assigned color group for Specials for the entire school year.
This setup gives students a wonderful opportunity to make new friends and interact with peers they might not otherwise see during the school day.

Bus Information

Track Your Bus from Your Smartphone

If you’re interested in obtaining a bus schedule, you need to contact the school or by using the Here Comes The Bus application.

Parents and students can now track their Granite School District bus on the Here Comes the Bus app, available on The App Store and Google Play.

This app shows the real-time location of your bus on a map, gives scheduled and actual arrival times for both home and school routes, and provides push and email notifications when the bus is near.

Here’s how to sign up:

Download the Here Comes the Bus app from The App Store or Google Play.
Tap Sign Up, then tap Continue.
Tap I have the Code.
Enter your email address, first name, last name, and school district code (29318). Accept the Terms and Conditions and tap Continue.
Tap Confirm if Granite School District is displayed.
Create your password.
If successful, you will see a Thank You screen. From here, check your email inbox for a message from noreply@synovia.com. Open the email and click Activate My Account. Once completed, close the browser link. You may now open the app and sign in with your email address and newly created password.

Adding a Student:

Once you’re signed in, tap the Student icon.
Tap the Add Student button and enter their last name and student ID. Tap Submit.
Repeat this process for additional students.
