Hello Rolling Meadows Families,
We are excited to welcome students in 1st-6th grades back to school on Monday, August 20, 2018. The first bell rings at 9:00 a.m. and the tardy bell rings at 9:05 a.m. Teachers have been working for several weeks getting their rooms and curriculum ready for a new year. Last week was the first contract week for educators. This week allowed us to work together as a faculty to plan for the upcoming year and attend the Granite School District Conference to learn new strategies to help all students succeed. We are ready for a new year to begin and look forward to seeing everyone on Monday morning!
Important dates:
Kindergarten Open House- 9:00-3:00 on Wednesday, August 22nd. Please stop by with your child so he/she can meet Mrs. Winder or Ms. Stevens and see their new classrooms. Class lists will be posted on Wednesday. If you are unable to make the open house, please call the school to find out which class your child is assigned.
We are excited to announce that Discover is donating string type backpacks and t-shirts to our students. Students will receive these items on August 22nd. Kindergarten students will get their items when they start school.
Thursday, August 23, 2018- all kindergarten students start school.
Thursday, August 30th- Back to School/Title I Night from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
