Glass Scientists
Glass scientists went to GTC UNI this past week. This was the first of a six week course on elements of glass and fiber optics. They made “glass” with Jolly Ranchers! Who knew science could be so sweet!

Elevated Scores in the Forklift Program
The new virtual reality Forklift Certification program, established this quarter at Genesis by teacher Daria, has a student who is halfway through the program. This is the printout of the student’s scores on each of the modules completed. Way to go!
Aquarium Visit
Genesis/Gemstone students recently attended the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. Students walked the rope bridge in the South America Display. Everyone agreed their favorite was the sting ray feeding and then getting to reach in the tank and touch them as they swam by.
