All students must register each year. Registration is available online through the Parent Portal, or in person during the first week of August.
In-Person Registration
Dates of registration: Monday, August 1, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Tuesday, August 2, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 3, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Thursday, August 4, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
All applications for Financial Assistance must be done in person. Please bring the necessary documentation:
If you are applying for a fee waiver, please come to the school with ONE of the following as documentation:
– Three (3) most recent pay stubs for everyone working in the household
– Letter from Workforce Services which states you are on food stamps, EBT cards are not accepted
– 2021 tax return
Fees may be paid in person.
Student Schedules will be given after applying for financial assistance or paying fees.

Fees can be paid online. Schedules will be emailed to parents once the registration process is completed and fees have been paid. Please allow 48 hours after payment to receive the email.
Please be aware that online registration is only available to returning students. This is any student who was at Cottonwood last year, and also includes those 9th graders who came from Granite Park or Bonneville Junior High.
New Student Enrollment
Any student new to Granite School District must enroll in person. Please call 385-646-6111 or email the registrar to make an appointment to enroll at mmaughan1@graniteschools.org. If no one answers, please leave a message and the registrar will return your call as soon as possible. You may also call the main office at 385-646-5264 to schedule an appointment with the registrar.
You may enroll a new student during Registration Week August 1-August 4. Walk-ins are accepted, but priority is given to appointments previously made.
The following documents are REQUIRED to enroll your student. If you do not have these documents, we cannot enroll your student.
-Student Birth Certificate
-Proof of Address (this must be a recent utility bill dated in the last 3 months, a lease agreement, or a mortgage agreement)
-Parent ID
The following documents are recommended for enrollment. Having these documents will assist in getting students into the correct classes.
-Immunization record. Parents have 21 days to provide immunization records to the school, or students may be exempted from classes until those documents are received.
-Previous school records (transcripts and withdrawal form from previous schools)
-IEP/504 information
