INTERNSHIPS: This semester pass/fail course is for students ready to move out of the classroom and experience on-the-job-training. Internships allow students to explore career interests as part of their high school education and add practical experience to their resume or college application. Internship opportunities are available in agriculture, education, criminal justice, healthcare and many more. Watch this video.
This program requires students to complete:
- 40 hours at the internship site
- Course work, where they will build a LinkedIn account, create a resume and participate in mock interviews
- A PowerPoint presentation as the final project, which will be presented at the junior high schools.
