Ms. Jean Jabal
Teacher
Second Grade
Ms. Jabal was born in Sacramento, California, but raised in many parts of the world! Her number one favorite place where she mostly grew up is Japan, and lived there for 13 years. Ms. Jabal graduated from the University of Idaho (Moscow, ID) in Elementary Education. Later, she received her Master’s Degree from Duquesne University (Pittsburgh, PA) in ESL Education. She has been teaching fifth grade at Elk Run Elementary for six years where she absolutely loves the staff, community, and especially the students! Some of her favorites are snowboarding, playing the drums and guitar, watching hockey and Korean dramas, and playing video games.
Ms. Leslie Morley
Teacher
Second Grade
My name is Ms. Morley, and this is my 8th year of teaching. What I love most about teaching is working with the students and seeing them progress and become successful in learning. I look forward to getting to know more students to assist them in their learning. I enjoy seeing their excitement when they “get it”, and I want them to continue to be enthusiastic about school and the importance of doing well academically.
Mrs Colette Rawlins
Teacher
Second Grade
This is Mrs. Rawlins's 24th year teaching. The one thing she loves most about teaching is that moment when her students get that look in their eyes that says, “I got it!”. She is excited to be back working in 2nd grade this year. She knows that this year, despite all of the chaos, is going to be FABULOUS!!
