3rd Grade

This is my ninth year at Elk Run Elementary School. I love teaching at Elk Run, our students are amazing. I graduated from the University of Utah with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and ESL endorsement. I went on to graduate from Grand Canyon University with my Master’s Degree in Reading Curriculum with an emphasis in Elementary Education. My goal is to be able to establish a love of learning in each child’s outlook. When students have a voice in what they are learning they are more motivated to work hard and achieve the skills necessary to reach their goals. By learning these skills at a young age, they will be able to go further in their own education with this ability as a cornerstone.
