Welcome to our schools Community Council. Our purpose is to address the academic needs of students at the local level by evaluating and providing opportunities and programs for their benefit.

Meeting Schedule and Agenda

Community members are invited to attend council meetings, but are not voting members. If you have a concern for your Community Council, please reach out to one of the council members.

Council Members

Council Members are chosen by election and are a mixture of school staff and community members. Candidacy and election procedures begin before each school year.

Invitation to serve on the council: We warmly invite parents to serve on our school’s community council. Information about council vacancies, declarations of candidacy forms, and elections are emailed sent out in August of each year.

Contact information for council members can be requested by contacting the School’s Principal.
You can also send a message to any council member in care of a message sent to the School’s Principal.

Serving on the Community Council allows parents to directly influence the way LAND Trust funds are used during the school year, which can include programs, materials, and other education-based solutions.

2025-2026

  • School Plan / Final Report
  • Funds received: $73,930.46
  • Funds used for: 1. We will hire a .5 FTE teacher to lower class sizes. 2. We will hire para educators (supervised by a licensed teacher) to support small groups of students in areas of reading and math as identified on ALO and NWEA MAP, and I Ready diagnostic. 3. We will provide supplies to support instruction in reading. Including: paper, pencils, toner, notebooks, whiteboards, markers, sheet protectors, binders, erasers, phonics materials, letter tiles. Consumable materials will be labeled for Land Trust use/instruction only. Non-consumable materials will be labeled with a sticker. 4. We will purchase supplies for instruction in reading, math, and science. Including: paper, pencils, toner, notebooks, whiteboards, markers, sheet protectors, binders, erasers, phonics materials, letter tiles, math manipulatives, and consumable materials for science experiment instruction. Consumable materials will be labeled for Land Trust use/instruction only. Non-consumable materials will be labeled with a sticker, identifying them as Land Trust purchases. 5. We will purchase printing materials for instruction in reading, math, and science.

  • Funds used for: Salaries and Benefits, Suplies, Library Books, and Field Trips.
