Students of Rolling Meadows kicked off the St. Patrick's Day weekend on Friday, March 14, when Irish dancers and a bagpiper came for a visit! The assembly started with a visitor from the Salt Lake Scots Pipe & Drum Band. He explained the ins and outs of a bagpipe and played traditional Scottish and Irish tunes. We thought we would continue this theme with our fundraiser, and decided to present "Waldo--The Walk-A-Thon Giraffe" as our fundraiser thermometer.
