Our goal at Elk Run Elementary School is for students to make academic and social growth. One way to do this is through setting individual students goals. It has been found that effective goal setting throughout life is one of the most important skills any one of us can have. Please take a moment to discuss with your student what goal he/she would like to work on for the 2013-2014 school year and fill out the survey. Celebrate items that your student is doing well in. Work on items that could be improved. Goals will be reviewed by students, parents, teachers and administrators. Please have your student turn in the survey and goal setting paper to their teacher by September 13th. By making education a priority, we can make a positive difference for our students.
