Elk Run is having a Parent Night!

6:00-7:20pm
This is a night just for Parents to learn new ways to positively influence your child’s education. There will be many classes to choose from. Classes will be 20 minutes each and full of information to help you support your child’s education.
Spanish interpreters will be available.
Dinner will be provided for Parents so be sure to arrive on time and bring your child’s student number. Most student’s have it memorized. Just ask them what their 9# is.
Classes at Parent Night:
Go-Math: This class will cover how to access GoMath materials from home as well as give you homework helps for math. Please bring your child’s student # for this class.
Wonders: This class will explain how to access our literacy program from home and show you features for your child. Please bring your child’s student # for this class.
Building Parent/Child Relationships: Learn about some simple tips to help build a more positive relationship with your child.
Get your Preschooler ready for Kindergarten: Do you have a child who will be in kindergarten next year or the year after? This class will help you to see if your child is learning what they need to now so that he/she will be ready for school.
Parent Portal: Have you heard of the Parent Portal but have not known how to access it or why it is so important? This is a great tool that Granite District has for you to monitor your child’s success on a weekly basis. Please bring your child’s student # for this class.
PTA/School Community Council: This is a great opportunity to learn more about how to be involved in PTA and the important decisions that are made in the School Community Council.
Tech Safety: There are new ways that children are accessing harmful apps. Come learn how to keep your child safe when using technology at home.
