Back to School Night Review
Thank you to all the Granite Park patrons that came to our Back-to-School Night. We had an amazing time, and it was great to meet so many of you. Just a reminder, our food pantry is open every day that school is in session. We can help accommodate your needs during these days from 8:00 am – 3:30pm.
School Pictures
We will be having school pictures on Wednesday, September 22nd. Students will get their pictures taken in their English classes. Flyers from Lifetouch will be sent home with students when we get closer to picture day.
Title 1 Stakeholder Survey
Granite Park is a Title 1 school and as a result we are provided with extra funding to help assist our school and to better meet needs of our students. To help us better identify school and community needs we need you input. Please help us by completing the attached survey relating to how we can improve our programs.

School Community Council
Granite Park’s Community Council will have its first meeting of the year on September 7th at 3:00 pm. These meeting are open to all Granite Park patrons. The purpose of the SCC is to help identify areas of concern in our school, work collaboratively with patrons to overcome school related issues, decide how to spend state allocated funds and much more. We hope to see you there.
Tardies
In order for student to be successful in school they need to be in class on time. We continue have a high number of late students, especially in the morning. Please make sure your students arrive on time. Just a reminder, school starts at 7:50 am. We do offer a free breakfast each morning as well, so if students would like to eat, they can begin eating at 7:30 am in the cafeteria.
School Safety
We are committed to keeping our students and staff safe. You can help us accomplish this goal by keeping your students at home if they are sick. Please keep students at home until they at symptom free for 24 hours. Our teachers are always available to provide missing work to students who miss due to illness.
USU Research Study
Utah State University is conducting a research project relating to Self-Regulated Learning. If you would like to have your student participate in this opportunity please review the flyer attached, flyer link
