Canvas Resources

Canvas is a learning management system used by all Granite students and teachers grades 7-12 as an online support and supplement for face-to-face classes. It is also the platform used to provide online classes for secondary students in Granite School District, as well as online professional development for teachers and other staff members.

Login

Students log in to Canvas (https://graniteschools.instructure.com/) using their Granite username and password. Parents access Canvas to observe their students’ classes via the Parent Portal.

Use your 4-4-4-@granitesd.org to login to your chromebook. Example: If your name is Molina Escobar and your student ID# is 9876543, your username is moliesco9876@granitesd.org. Notice the first 4 letters of first and last name and first four numbers of your student ID#.

Use your student ID# to login to Canvas and SORA.

In the examples above, your password is the same.

You can login to Canvas from the granitesd.org drop down menu after you login to your chromebook and open the chrome browser.

You can login to Canvas by loggin into the Portal. Look for the Canvas Link.

You can log in to Canvas by going to www.graniteschools.org and clicking on Canvas (towards the top of the page).
