Canvas is a learning management system used by Granite students and teachers in grades 7-12 as an online support for face-to-face classes. It is also the platform used to provide online classes for secondary students in Granite School District, as well as online professional development for teachers and other staff members.
Login
Students log in to Canvas using their Granite username and password. Parents access Canvas to observe their students’ classes via the Parent Portal.
Use your 4-4-4-@granitesd.org account to log in to your Chromebook. Example: if your name is Molina Escobar and your student ID is 9876543, your username is moliesco9876@granitesd.org. Use the first 4 letters of your first and last name and the first 4 numbers of your student ID.
Use your student ID to log in to Canvas login page and SORA login page.
In the examples above, your password is the same.
You can log in to Canvas from the granitesd.org drop-down menu after you log in to your Chromebook and open the Chrome browser.
You can also log in to Canvas through the Portal. Look for the Canvas login link.
You can log in to Canvas by going to Granite School District website and selecting Canvas near the top of the page.
