Granite Park End of Year Schedule
For the last two weeks of school, we will be having the following events to wrap up our school year:
• May 25th – 8th Grade Promotion Award Assembly. Parents, please join us in celebrating your students. Assembly
will begin at 8:30 am on the date provided.
o Parents of students that are receiving awards will receive an invitation from the school.
o If you are unable to attend, we will post the Promotion Assembly on your YouTube site.
o No outside gifts such as balloons, followers etc. will be allowed.
• May 25th – Dance, Art, Music Night at Granite Park. This event will start at 6:00 pm. Come see our student
perform!
• May 26th – Granite Park Talent Assembly. We plan on posting this event on our YouTube channel so parents can
watch at home. Due to the size of our auditorium, we will not have seats available for anyone besides Granite Park
students and staff.
• May 27th – Chromebooks turned in. Students will be fined the cost of the Chromebook ($237) and charger ($28) if
the items are not returned to the school.
• May 30th – Memorial Day/No School
• May 31st – Yearbook/Student Mingle Day
• June 1st – Field Day Activities in the afternoon.
• June 2nd – this is a ½ day and buses will arrive at 12:05 pm to take students home. This is the last day of school!
Summer School Opportunity
Summer school will be held at the Central Park Community Center located at 2797 South 200 East. The program
will run from June 6 through July 29, Monday through Friday.
The daily program will have a morning session from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, as well as an afternoon session from
1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Students may come for one or both sessions. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided
each day for students that attend. Families will be required to provide their own transportation to summer
school each day.

Granite District Youth Symphony

Registration for 2022-2023 School Year
We will have Granite Park registration the 1st week of August. More info to come relating to exact dates and time will be provided soon.

Just a reminder that Granite Park has food pantry available for families of Granite Park students. Please stop by during school hours if you need food assistance.
