RISE Testing
Testing at Granite Park begins on Monday the 17th and will run for 3 weeks. Please work with your student ensure they are getting adequate sleep (at least 8 hours), eat before school, and review key notes and concepts from class.
We look forward to seeing the individual growth in all our students on this assessment. Please let us know if you have any questions/concerns relating to the upcoming assessment.
Cottonwood Network Community Night
Please join us May 18th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm for the annual Cottonwood Network Night. All students and families in the Cottonwood Network are invited to attend. There will be games, food, and performances from all schools including Granite Park.
This event will take place at Cottonwood High School on the date and time provided.
Utah State Board of Education Climate Survey
This survey includes questions about your student’s learning, school safety, and interpersonal relationships, as well as your attitudes about the institutional environment and your personal involvement in school. Your responses will be very helpful in improving student relationships, learning conditions, and the overall school environment.
Survey results will only be reported as group responses. There are no right or wrong answers. Responses are housed securely in an anonymous format with the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) for evaluation research purposes. As you respond to each item, think about your own personal experiences as a parent, caregiver or guardian at your student’s school. Please answer all of the questions.

Students will be taking the student survey on May 4th in their advisory classes. If you would like to opt your students out of this survey, please notify Principal Griffiths via email (cgriffiths@graniteschools.org) that you would like to opt your student out of the survey by May 1st.
Granite School District Panorama Student Survey
On May 23rd, all students at Granite Park will take the Panorama Student Survey that is designed provide opportunities for students to share how they experience school. This will help us gain a deeper understanding of our school’s strengths and areas for growth. Please read the information letter provided for more information relating to this survey.
