School Registration
School registration is required for all students. Our district is moving towards implementing a new operating system district wide and as a result all Granite Park student registration will be completed in person on the following dates:
July 31st from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm August 1st from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm
The following documents are required to register all students:
• Current Proof of Address (utility bill, lease/rental agreement, or mortgage paperwork within the past 30 days)
• Current Immunization Records (7th graders will need to have updated immunizations to attend)
*we will have an immunization clinic on site to help students get required immunizations.
• Birth Certificate or legal government ID if new Granite School District.
• Fee Waiver Application (you can get one at the school). Fee Waivers cannot be approved without documentation of wages. Please bring one of the following or have a digital copy of:
o 2022 Tax Returns
o 3 most recent check stubs for each working adult in the residence
o Proof of state assistance (DWS paperwork with approval and dates)
o Documentation of Social Security Benefits
You and your student will need to enter through the south doors. You will be provided with the required paperwork that needs to be completed and other information relating to registration.

School Community Council
If you would like to apply to be on our school community council, please click on the form to access the application. Once completed, please email (cgriffiths@graniteschools.org) or bring the complete application to Granite Park.

Important Upcoming Dates Date | Event | Description |
8/11 | 6th Grade Orientation 8:00 am – 11:45 am Buses will pick students up following the normal Granite Park bus schedule and will take students home at 11:45 am. | All 6th grade students are invited to join us for our 6th grade orientation day on Friday, August 11th. Students will learn about Granite Park, meet teachers, and take a tour of the building. Lunch will be provided. Parents are always welcome to attend with their student. |
8/15 | Hot Dog Hello 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm | Students can come pick up their class schedule, meet their teachers and find out where their classes are. We will also be providing those attending a hot dog and chips. Families are welcome; come join the fun! |
8/16 | First Day of School | School starts at 7:50 am; don’t be late! |
8/24 | Back to School night 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm | Come learn more about our school and see resources we can help provide students and families. More info to come. |

BARK Monitoring Service
Granite School District has partnered with BARK to help monitor student use of technology while using district owned devices. Student safety and well-being is our main priority. To help us achieve this goal, Bark monitors messages, email, use of 30+ apps and social media platforms for signs of issues like cyberbullying, sexual content, depression, suicidal ideation, threats of violence, and more. Our school will receive alerts relating to any concerning content while using district computers and tools so we can work with students.
