Welcome to the new School Year
Our school is excited for the new school year to begin on Wednesday, August 16th. Our amazing staff has worked hard this summer to prepare for the new school year. Our faculty cares about the academic and social-emotional success of our students and we are committed to providing all students with the education they deserve.
Below are some reminders and important info for you as we start the new year. Please don’t hesitate to call the school if you have any questions or need assistance with anything.
Lockers, Backpacks and Lunches
All students at Granite Park will be provided with a binder and a planner. Starting the 1st week of September, no backpacks or bags will be allowed in the school. If your student needs a locker due to special circumstances, please contact the school so we can make arrangements for students to get al locker and discuss locker responsibilities.
Since we do not allow backpacks at school, we have a system in place where we collect home lunches for students and put them in a secure location until it is time for lunch. Students who bring home lunches to school will need to drop off their lunches before school in the main office and can pick them up in the main office when it is time for their lunch.
