Just a reminder that students will start the RISE assessment next week. Please encourage your student to do their best and we can’t wait to see their growth. Here is the schedule we will follow:

- Attendance for students during the RISE is a key factor to their success. Please make sure your student attends every day during the RISE assessment window. Each day that students attend during the RISE assessments, they will receive a raffle ticket for prizes.
Student drop off and pick up
Parents, across the district there have been concerns raised relating to the dropping and picking up of students. Please review the videos links provided to serve as a reminder of how to safely drop and pick your students up from school. Granite Park Spring Musical
Just a reminder that our amazing students will be performing the Spring Musical next week. We will be showing FREAKY FRIDAY next week on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights at 7:00 pm. We will be charging $2 at the door and students get in free with their student ID.
We hope to see you come out and support our students.
South Salt Lake Mental Wellness Family Night
Parents, we would like to invite you and your families to the South Salt Lake Mental Wellness Night that will be held on Thursday, April 18th from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm and Central Park Community Center (2797 S. 200 E., South Salt Lake).
Join us for refreshments, art activities, a petting zoo,
therapy animals, and to discover resources from Promise
SSL & our community partners. You can then swing over to the school to watch the Musical!

Growth Measure Data Celebration
Each year, students the Growth Measure Reading Assessment three times to help track students reading comprehension development. We recently received our endo f the year data and we are happy to share the following information:
- 390 of our students made at least one years of growth on this assessment by the end of March. This is 49% of our students.
- 105 of our students made at least 1.5 years of growth on this assessment so far this year. This is 14% of our students.
- 150students made 2 years (or more) of growth on the assessment so far. This is 19% of our students.
- In total 79% of student made at least a years’ worth of growth and we still have 2 months of school left.
