Granite Park Community, I hope you are all enjoying your summer break. The start of the school year is right around the corner, and we want to share some important information relating to the beginning of the school year with all of you. Please don’t hesitate to contact the school if you have any questions relating to school related events.

School Registration Information
School registration is required and must be completed in order for your student to attend school. Our district has moved to an online registration process using the FOCUS Parent Portal. Parents can begin the registration process online starting July 29th. If you don’t have a Parent Portal account set up, you can click this link to set an account up: Parent Portal Set Up Link
Our school will be open on August 1st from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm to help with your registration needs if you would like to come to the school for help. We will be able to help you in the following ways:
- Set up a Parent Portal
- Complete a Fee Waiver (covers the cost of school fees if you qualify)
- Tour the school
- Meet teacher and administration
- Get immunizations (required for all incoming 7th graders)
- And much more
If you are a new student to Granite Park (meaning you are new to our school boundaries) you will need to come to our school on August 1st to enroll your student and pick your classes.

The following documents are required to register:
- • Current Proof of Address (utility bill, lease/rental agreement, or mortgage paperwork within the past 30 days)
- • Current Immunization Records (required for all 7th graders to attend)
- • Birth Certificate or legal government ID if new to the area.
- • Fee Waiver Application (you can get one at the school or complete on the Parent Portal) • Fee Waivers cannot be approved without documentation of wages. Please bring one of the following:
Fee Waiver applications are due on or before Friday, October 25, 2024. To qualify for fee waiver, you need to bring in documentation that your student receives ONE of the following (we will accept digital copies):
If you do not qualify for a fee waiver using the options above, you will need to provided wage documentation using one of the following:
- 2023 Tax Returns
- 2 most recent pay stubs
- Proof of state assistance (your case number)
***ATTENTION: As outline Granite School District policy, any fees left unpaid for the current school year will be subject to collections at the end of that school year.
