Principal’s Message 10/9/24

Granite Park families, we are officially 25% done with the school year. We look forward to working
with you and your student(s). We have seen lots of growth in all of our students and continue to be
impressed with their efforts.

Upcoming 8th Grade Field Trip
The Granite Technical Institute offers classes that are available to all Granite School District high school
students. Students can take courses in a variety of fields including engineering, construction trades, health
sciences, criminal justice, culinary arts, and computer programming. On October 16th and 17th our 8th grade students will go on a field trip to the GTI to learn about these classes. This will help them make decisions about the classes they want to take in 9th grade. Students will attend this field trip during ONE of the following times:
October 16th: 8:00am-10:20am
October 17th: 8:00-10:20am

Granite Park Annual Title 1 Meeting
Parents we want to invite you to attend out annual Title 1 meeting that will be held at our school on
October 29th at 3:30 pm. This is change from an earlier scheduled meeting that we are
rescheduling. In the meeting we will review how Title 1 impacts our school, and we will also seek
your input relating to our school engagement policy and parent compact.
