Halloween Guidelines
The Halloween holiday is fast approaching and we a strong tradition at Granite Park of celebrating
this holiday by allowing students to dress up. Here are some guidelines for we are asking students to
follow if they would like to dress up for the holiday:
- No weapons of any sort will be allowed. This includes all real and/or fake weapons.
- No masks or face paint that can potentially conceal the identify of your student.
- No inflatable costumes
- No costumes or make-up that depict violence or gore
- Costumes must follow school dress code
If students do come to school dressed in a costume that does not follow these guidelines, they risk
having their costume confiscated or will required to change. If you have any questions or need
clarification, please contact the school.
Granite Park Office Hours
Our school office hours are from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm. If you come to the school during these times, we
will be able to allow you access to our building and help you as quickly as we can. If you come to the
school before or after these hours, you will not be able to enter the building unless you have an
appointment.
If you need to meet with someone at the school not during our office hours, please contact the school

Granite Park Annual Title 1 Meeting
Parents we want to invite you to attend out annual Title 1 meeting that will be held at our school on
October 29th at 3:30 pm. In the meeting we will review how Title 1 impacts our school, and we will
also seek your input relating to our school engagement policy and parent compact.
Important Upcoming Dates
- Picture retakes/make-ups will be on October 25th
- No School on November 1st
