Hello Crusader Family! My name is Brittani Gourley and I am a school counselor here at Kennedy Jr. High. I was born and raised in Durango, Colorado playing sports and spending most of my time outdoors! As an adolescent I was drawn to helping others, connections and problem solving and always felt that educators are strong, impactful roles in this world. I knew I wanted to leave a positive mark on others. I earned my undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff in psychology. This led me to pursue my graduate degrees in School Counseling and Clinical Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. I have grown and learned over the past 9 years as a school counselor working in Texas and Colorado. I am happy to call Utah home and looking forward to settling in this great community here with my family.

2013 brought a cross-country move for my husband and I to West Jordan, UT. Settling down by family and grandkids has been a delight! During free time I enjoy crocheting, reading, cooking, movies and doing anything outdoors!
