School background
Olympus Junior High School is located in the east area (Holladay) of Granite School District. The original school was built in the late 1800’s. A new facility was built in 2003. Students living more than two miles from the school are bused. Currently, there is one bus transporting students to the school. The school has 39 classrooms, and 1 large group instruction room.
Computers and technology
Olympus Junior High integrates technology in all areas of the school program. Every teacher has a classroom computer and many have mini computer labs. All of our classrooms are equipped with LCD ceiling projectors and teacher audio enhancement systems. Olympus Junior High School has three computer labs with 36-40 computers per lab. Our media center houses 20 computers which can also be used as a lab. We pride ourselves in integrating computer technology into all curricular areas.
