This is my 4th year teaching Social Studies. I received a Bachelor's in Political Science from Boise State and my Master's in Education from Grand Canyon University. Previously, I taught History and American Government in Boise, Idaho. In 2019, I participated in The Case Method Project at Harvard Business School where I studied ways to help students analyze how they would have made decisions if they were in the shoes of past influential leaders! A style of teaching I still use today. This year I am teaching 6th Grade Success, U.S History, and World Studies. I am also the Student Government advisor and have a passion for helping students reach their full potential-as leaders, as people, and as citizens! In my spare time I love to practice yoga, go hiking, and go on adventures with my 2 kids!
